Marty is a Giver

Ask anyone. In the 41 years that Marty has been a part of the La Honda community, she's given her time and talents, whether it's establishing the MAC (Mature Adults Community) group,volunteering with the Information & Escort Desk at Stanford Hospital, fostering homeless dogs through Golden Gate Labrador Retriever Rescue, supporting CORA (Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse), serving on the Board of Directors for the La Honda Fire Department, or pitching in at community fundraisers like the Crab Cioppino Feeds and Pancake Breakfasts.

What Happened

A week of rain in the San Francisco Bay Area has resulted in a landslide destroying Marty's entire home. In a matter of 2 days, this natural disaster has forced Marty out of her home as she stands by helplessly watching it ripped apart and sliding down the hill.

How You Can Help

We'd like to help Marty with two urgent needs: 1. Cover Marty's immediate out-of-pocket expenses as she has to quickly pack up and move all of her possessions. 2. Make Marty financially stable so that she can pick up the pieces. Please consider giving to help Marty and sharing this effort with your networks.
